A delightful week — conducive to all that la dolce vita has to offer. Peaceful. Panoramic views. Pasta. Perfect in fact. A wonderful area and the food is delicious. Mimmi's is our favourite. We may have to come back. (11th September 2009)

What an amazing view! We have had two wonderful weeks here in Italy. Tried lots of the restaurants you recommended and ... delicious! Children loved the pool and we loved watching the sun go down with a glass of wine!

We had a wonderful week in September, and immediately were very impressd with the stunning setting overlooking the Tuscan/Umbrian countryside. The House had been recently renovated to an excellent standard and everything you could want, had been catered for. We tried some of the recommended local restaurants serving excellent Italian food, often in beautiful locations. Visited the Tuscan hill towns of Cortona and Montone (a must see) and even got to spend time on the beach by Lake Tressimeanor, a 30 minute drive away. 10 out of 10 - Highly recommend.

We had an amazing week here. The house is very comfortable, even if there are lots of you. The location is stunning and has amazing restaurants right on the doorstep.
We really recommend traveling by train like we did. We wanted to avoid the hassle (and carbon footprint) of flying, so we took the Eurostar to Paris and then booked a cabin on an overnight train to Florence. You can book a hire car to pick up at the station. It was a fantastic journey - comfortable and stress-free (and you get the added bonus of seeing Paris on the way).
